What is Anti Alt Detection
Alt accounts are widely known as "second" accounts, usually used for actions that a user doesn't want / cannot do on their main account. Users can use alt accounts to evade bans, collect something / comeple something to gain personal benefit or just do malicious actions without getting punished on their main account.
Alt accounts are usually easy to detect, by looking at their name, profile or bio, you could figure it out, but the easiest way is the account age. Alt accounts are usually made in bulk and fast, meaning their account age is young. Meta takes advantage of such issues and tries to find / filter out the accounts that are suspiciously young.
By enabling the Anti Alt Detection System, Meta will scan each account that joins the server and notifies server staff and the user if they are considered to be an alt account.
Permission Warning
Users with the Administrator permissions will be ignored by Meta. Administrators can change the configurations of the module.
Action Logs
All Anti Alt Detection logs will be sent into the server admin-logs channel. You cannot change the logging channel for Anti Alt Detector.
Why we recommend Alt Detectors?
Based on our statistics, Meta has found over 7000 suspected Alt Accounts in 290+ servers combined. This number is very large considering the size of the servers, meaning that the use of alt accounts is wide in all type of servers.

Anti Alt Rules
Young Account
An account that has joined your server, but is suspiciously young. The paramater of how young can an account be, can be setted by you.
Suspicious Username
If the account has a known scamming / suspicious name. This feature is created so those accounts wont be kicked (like automod would), but the staff will be notified.
Modify Anti Alt Detector
You can edit the day count on Anti Alt. The day count is the amount of days the account must be old, inorder to not be considered to be an alt account.
By deafult, the days count is set to 2 days
EXAMPLE:
If the day count is 5 days, then all accounts that are younger than 5 days are considered to be Alt Accounts.
Restriction:
The maximum days that can be setted is 356 days (1 year). And the minimum days is 1 day

Automatically Kick Alt Accounts Meta Plus
Have a busy server that is struggeling with Alt Accounts constantly joining? We're here to help out. Meta Plus offers automatic alt kicker, that does all the time consuming kicking itself.
If Meta consideres an account to be an Alt Account, and the automatic kicker is enabled, the account will be kicked, a notification will be sent to the Moderation team and the user itself, explaining why they were kicked and how old their account is.
This feature is perfect when you do not want fresh / newly made accounts in your server, everything will be logged into the Administrator logs.
Permissions Needed
Make sure Meta has all the necessary permissions, if you're not sure, try giving the app Administrator permissions.
